I want the truth.  I even use a 15X mirror in my bathroom so I can see &w on my face and neck.  I want to see what other people see when they look at me.  I'm not fooling myself nor do I want to fool anybody else.  As for my body, I've always eaten healthy foods and exercised and still wear the same size now that I did in high school (50 years ago!  eek!).

Most people don't get that close to you, LOL.

Very interesting question. I would prefer the painful truth. Good ( I'd be happy), the bad ( I'd work with), the bad (I'd put a paper bag over my head. Lol) .

What I didn't mention, @feline groovy, is that I'm practically blind without my glasses.  I have to use 15X magnification so I can see to put my makeup on, tweeze, etc.   When I use a 15X mirror, I'm probably seeing what others see from 10 feet away.   Har!

It's h*ll to get old!

I hear ya!

My own RX script is so super strong that I have to get high index lenses for my progressives, LOL.

Hey, modifying things is always a smart move.

And as far as the effects of aging, the alternative is far worse.  ;-)

I would prefer the truth mirror. Btw I was shopping today for a new pair of dress pants for work, and the mirror did not make me look thinner. I still looked liked I had gained 15 pounds - gotta love menopause.

Especially the "Menopot"; most 'pausal weight gain is in the midsection/torso area. ;-)

@feline groovy

You're right about that. That extra middle weight just adds to the frustration of buying pants.
