How does this oil absorb into the skin?    I avoid oils that end up coming off onto clothing, preferring creams, but thought I'd ask about absorption.  TIA

@Tinkrbl44....I bought some today and really like it. I put some on my hands and arms and it absorbed very quickly. Very light, pleasant rose scent. I can't wait to try it on my face tonight.

I promise to remind myself every day that I am strong, courageous, and resilient.

I bought this yesterday based on all the great reviews. I have very dry, sensitive, rosacea skin, so I am very careful what I put on it. I used this oil last night and again this morning, and I love it. It sinks right in, isn't greasy feeling, smells amazing and has not irritated my skin at all. My skin feels soothed and soft. As far as helping with wrinkles, etc, time will tell, but it is so lovely to have found something that doesn't irritate my face. So thank you for posting about this Noel7!!!

I love their facial cleansing oil. It received great reviews by Nuevocheap and Musings of a Muse. Rose scented and very gentle on the skin, it doesn't make my skin tight or itchy. I also have rosecea and it doesn't bother my skin. It's replaced my Clinique cleanser that I've used for the last ten years.

will have to try the body oil.  Sign up at Palmers site. They send me coupons every week.

I just bought Palmer's Facial Oil and tried it last night and this morning. My skin is very sensitive and prone to break outs, and I am happy to report that it did not break me out.  Argan oil tends to break me out, and Tarte's Maracuja oil does not.  Palmer's feels very similar to the Tarte's Maracuja oil and it's much much cheaper.   It makes my skin feels super soft.  I'll definitely continue to use it. Thanks for posting @Noel7.

For those interested, here are the key ingredients (from the Palmer's website):

Cocoa Butter: rich moisturizer softens and evens skin tone

Pure Oil Blend (Sesame Oil, Coconut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil, Apricot Oil, Argan Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Rosehip Oil, Camelina Oil and Sunflower Oil): enriched with essential vitamins and nutrients to soften, smooth and plump skin while visibly rejuventating and toning skin

Retinol: advanced anti-aging ingredient helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and smooth skin texture

Vitamin C: natural antioxidant helps brighten skin and dark spots

That's interesting, The label ingredients from the Target website say this:

Canola Oil, Isopropyl Myristiate, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Tocopheryl Acetate, Dimethicone, Rosa Canina Seed Extract, Fragrance (Parfum), Linalool, Citronellol, Coumarin, Gerianiol.

No mention of retinol (vitamin A), or other oils. Canola oil  being first means that makes up most of the concentration. And dimethicone? I don't want cones in my products. I wonder why Target wouldn't just use the ingredient deck as listed on the Palmer's website? These seem like 2 different products of ingredients to me. I see absolutely no canola oil in the list from the Palmer's website. Curious.

ETA: Never mind, Target  had 2 skin therapy facial oils, The boxes looked similar but if you want the one with the first set of ingredients make sure you get the box that looks like this that says "face" on it. My bad.

@PinkSunset

That's the skin therapy oil, not the one for the face.

Yeah, I'm wondering about the canola oil. I shun that in any of my cooking.

This is the one you want - the one with the dropper.

I went to Amazon to check out this oil and here are the ingredients listed:

Ingredients

Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Isopropyl Myristate, Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate, Camelina Sativa Seed Oil, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, PEG 40 Sorbitan Peroleate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Caprylyl Methicone, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Tocopheryl Acetate, Retinol, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Centella Asiatica Extract, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Dimethicone, Methyl Dihydroabietate, Fragrance (Parfum), BHT, Benzyl Benzoate, Citronellol, Alpha-Isomethyl lonone, Geraniol, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde, Hexyl Cinnamal, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Eugenol.

I think the ingredients listing on the Palmer's website just lists the key ingredients. I don't have the product so I may be wrong but to those who have it can verify if this is correct.

I don't know how it does, but it does @Tinkrbl44  I love it and have used it multiple times, including last night.

It's not greasy and it absorbs almost right away.  There is none on my pillow or sheets, and it leaves my face incredibly soft and moist.  It has a little vitamins and retinol in it and it's doing a good job.

Honestly... this gives me the best and longest lasting soft and even feel ever.

I just sent for the regular Palmer's body oil.  I'm always fighting a rough patch on my left elbow, I have the feeling the body oil may help.

Oh, my daughter is amazed with it and now has her own bottle.  She usually rejects everything I suggest she try, lol.
