I got this pic from Q's site, hope it will open. I couldn't find info on the colors used. I am looking for recommendations for lipsticks in similar orchid colors, preferably drugstore brands as I don't know that I'd wear this color beyond Spring and Summer this year. I don't usually wear bright colors but would like to try something new. Any suggestions?

L'Oreal have some pretty lipsticks that are categorized by color. I think I saw some pretty ones that looked orchid to me at a nearby drugstore.

Good luck!

A lighter version of orchid is what's always looked best on me and I've always mixed my own, but I don't know if you want to go to that trouble.

If you do, Milani Black Cherry mixed with any pink or beigy nude (Fergie Daily works great) is beautiful. I've never found an orchid I like (usually too vibrant) so I've always done it this way. I went through a peachy phase, but I love orchid! For me, the nudish color with a very small amount of the cherry-black works best, but you can customize however you want.

Revlon Colorburst #001 Lilac is nice. It's a wearable shade since some lilacs look weird (on me anyway) but the top has a square of the color and it's really close! Good luck!

I bought Radiant Rush from Sephora and it's fabulous. It's from the Sephora + Pantone collection.

Sephora brand Rouge Infusion lipink in either Magenta ink or Fuschia concentrate (not as bright and opaque as they look in the tube ($14).

Saw a Mabelline commercial for their Elixir lip glosses....and one was all kind of purple. Unless it has a reddish undertone, can't imagine how violet or purple would look good on any skin tone. I have a feeling we'll be looking back on violet lipstick 10 years from now going, "what WERE we thinking??"!! No wonder guys hate makeup on ladies. Smiley Very Happy
