2zbeach: I used the Olay Regenerist moisturizers and serum for a while. Like you, I have very dry skin and I soon found that Regenerist dried out my face even more, to the point that my face was sore across my cheekbones. I have a feeling it is more for combination skin. I switched to Olay Total Effects and that one works beautifully.

Iam a huge Oil of Olay fan! I have been using this line for years. I have good skin. Would never want to be without it.

The Regenerist line is highly rated. I used to use it. Unfortunately, had to stop because it caused terrible milia which took me ages to conquer.

I have always loved Olay products, but for the first time the other day I decided to try Regenerist. I was shocked to see that it is made in Thailand. Nothing against Thailand as I spent 2 months there once and loved it. But really it was quite shocking as it seems so unamerican.

I use the Olay Youth Code, the moisturizer that comes in a short pink jar. I love it!

I like the scent and it leaves my face feeling really soft.

After reading about argan oil,I am going to venture into CVS or somewhere to buy some Olay. I don't like animal testing, but I am getting desperate. Thanks to those who took their time to reply. Much appreciated.

I tried the serum, two different times (gave it a second try due to good reviews) but ended up with milia both times. And my skin isn't even breakout or milia-prone. Olay products seem to be high in silicones so be careful if your skin reacts poorly to them.

Olay Regenerist Luminous Tone Perfecting OilIt is $30 at both of my rural CVS and WalGreens, so it will probably be at yours. Here are the ingredients. My only concern about the below ingredients are the citrus ones, but Olay has a whole series of citrus facial products that people seem to like.

Olay Oil Ingredients

Capric Triglyceride , Caprylic , Vitis Vinifera (Grape Seed) Oil , Prunus Armeniaca Kernel Oil (Apricot) , Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil , Citrus Aurantium Dulcis Peel Oil (Orange) , Citrus Reticulata Peel Oil (Tangerine) , Citrus Limon Peel Oil (Lemon) , Mentha Viridis Leaf Oil (Spearmint) , Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil (Jojoba) , Sesamum Indicum Seed Oil (Sesame) , Orbignya Oleifera Seed Oil , Olea Europaea Fruit Oil (Olive) , Oenothera Biennis Oil (Evening Primrose) , Benzyl Alcohol , Tocopherol

I'd be concerned not only about the citrus oils but about the Spearmint oil. In fact, that would likely be the deal-breaker for me.

I have been using the Regenerist line for a few years. I have nothing bad to say about it!

My skin is like yours in the winter. I use the Night Cream daily in the morning in the winter. It's in a purple jar. I have no tightness or dryness.

The cleansers are good. I use them a few times a week in rotation with Wen.

Olay frequently discontinues products and comes out with new ones. You can find the Deep Moisturizer and DNA Superstructure at Drugstore dot com or Big Lots.

The new product is the Luminous Cleanser. I bought it at the end of fall, so I switched to the Night Cream.

Get your flu shot...because I didn't.
