From the presentations I saw on the oils, Chaz said put in at night and then cleanse/condition the next morning. I don't know how you apply it so your hair doesn't look oily, but I know that you came to the right place if you want tips and answers! If someone knows, they will respond.

I'm confused......you're saying that your hair is oily after you apply the oils and massage them into your scalp, right? If so, that's perfectly normal, especially if you have fine hair. My hair is fine in texture, but pretty thick. I apply three or four droppers directly to my scalp for an overnight oil treatment. I look like..........well, I look like I have a head full of oil! It's not pretty, but the results are SO worth it! Once I do an oil treatment, I can only leave the house if I'm wearing a baseball cap! There is no other option.
If that's what you're worried about, don't worry! With hair that's "normal" (whatever that means) to fine in texture, there's no way to do a proper oil treatment and the oil not be noticeable.
I read that some ladies can apply the oils and still be presentable........I am NOT one of these........I massage the oil in and my hair goes up in a ponytail or bun. I think the girls with thicker, more textured hair can apply the oils and it not be as noticeable. Hope this helps!

My hair is fine to normal, and I just used TT oil, and I tried to concentrate rubbing the oil into my scalp and not the rest of my hair to try to avoid it being noticeable (and so it doesn't get on my pillow) but it was still noticeable. I only used about 1 dropper full too, so I don't think there's really a way to avoid it.

I agree with all of the others. You should expect your hair to be oily after applying an oil treatment. Once you wash your hair it shouldn't be oily at all and may look even better than usual.
I can add a little bit to the ends and it doesn't make my hair oily. If you use the oils in small doses in addition to your styling creme your hair shouldn't be oily.

Gotcha, glad we could help clear that up for you! :-)
Like Hilary said, I look funky with a scalp full of oil (my man has learned to ignore it), but it washes out easily with a double cleanse of Wen.
I remember when I did my first oil treatment, I was initially horrified........I thought there was no way that it would wash out with Wen. I actually took an old bottle of shampoo in the shower with me, "just in case", lol.
