Desi, so tired I didn't get on last night but did try, kept saying they were having a problem?
Cars are something but sure have to be reliable that's for sure. You certainly need windshield wipers. It is the same with a lot of things, fix something and do something else that was fine before, always something.
I do the same, watch some new shows when others are repeats, try to catch up and if not later they will all be on again so you can watch later.
I too thought that lady looked familiar as did DH but neither of us could put a finger on it. Sometimes someone just resembles someone though. I do hope he gets a love interest, had one awhile ago, short time, but was nice for him. That show has been on a long time but is still a good one.

Hello regulars and lurkers.
I need to catch up a bit, but wanted to stop and say hello. Today was our 2nd "Pets for Life" clinic in an underserved area of Pittsburgh. I went on my own, as DH had to work.
Unfortunately, we didn't get the turn out we did 6 months ago. But, we still made a difference. I was asked to work with the vets and vet techs. I'm there as a permanent volunteer now. That makes me happy. I was told I had high praises from our in house clinic vet.
Nothing new in the area of fragrance or makeup. Animals are fine. Stinky, but fine. They may get baths tomorrow.
Desi: Sorry about the car issues. I can sympathize. Took mine in for brakes last month and now the 2 lowest settings on the AC/heat vent don't work. I wonder if things "need fixed" intentionally or are people just incompetent.
doglover: What hole in your DH stomach are you referring to? Does he need a urostomy in order to void or does he need a Gtube placed for nutrition? My dad had the Gtube, and did well with it.

Hi guys. Weird weather, rained, now freezing out there.
It's the windshield fluid that stopped working. Apparently it's a hose problem. DH fixed it, but said it will only last a year or so. Heaven forbid I let the shop do it! Then again, as Pepe's mom said, they may be the reason the problem happened.
Hope DH gets some answers from a Doc. you can trust.
Pepe's mom, glad you did another dog clinic. Sounds like you were a great asset as usual!

pepesmom, he eats okay, no problem with eating.
Desi, also wonder sometimes about mechanics and do they do things so you have to come back and get more done? No one knows of course but years ago you use to be able to go right into the garage and watch while they did things, no more, say it is because of insurance regulations but sometimes you wonder.

Doglover, if they have scheduled surgery in a week that is why the antibiotics now. Sure seems like they are rushing the surgery and this and it isn't pleasant. Not sure what to tell you, just hope the doctors know what they are doing.
I bet the mechanics don't want to be observed, lol!

Madam Secretary starts now even though the TV scrolled a different time!
‎10-12-2014 09:22 PM
Desi, nothing was scheduled yet.
Yes, am sure that is a reason regardless what they say about insurance. I know insurance does play a role and they don't want people running all around a work area.
I don't think where we have been going the last several years that anyone there would do this but you never know so, empty the cars out now all the time to play it safe.

Doglover, if the antibiotics aren't because they are scheduling DH and he actually has an infection, they should have told you.
I wasn't implying the mechanics here stole anything from the cars, just that what they are fixing might not have been broken - at least not until they worked on the car for something else.
It's probably a very good idea not to leave valuables, but there's a limit to what you should have to remove before dropping it off!

Desi, no, know you didn't say anything like that, I did, had things taken from our cars over the years from one particular other dealership we use to go to, don't anymore. Who would have thought someone would take ladies sunglasses or gum, stupid stuff let alone my DVD's. Just never thought about it before that happened.
Yes, should have been told if he has an infection but we didn't even know he prescribed a med. We went to pick up another of his meds and the pharmacist gave us this one. I said what is this and he said the doctor you were to yesterday, said his name, and said he called this antibiotic in for him. No one said anything to us at the office unless they did to DH in the room since I had to leave before he had the procedure done so if he said anything to him he said he didn't hear it but no, no surgery was scheduled at that time. The surgeon said he had to talk and confirm it with his family doctor first.

Hi all.
Doglover, okay, wasn't sure but didn't think I said they took anything - I don't keep a thing in my car.
Really hope you got to speak with one of DH's Docs to see if he really needs antibiotics. No sense taking them for no reason.
IT TSV at midnight I believe. If you order early make sure you get the TSV price.
