May start with 2 days a week and work up.. I just have freckling( not melasma) and some early aging signs... Anyone have good results with starting slow??? Thanks beautiful ladies!!!

Are you doing NuDerm under a derm's care? Or are you doing it on your own? I did mine years ago under the careful supervision of my derm. This is powerful stuff and, done correctly, your skin will be gorgeous in 18 weeks. When I read some of these threads for various skin solutions, I see many decide to do it on their own. Not a good idea. You may not even need something as strong as NuDerm. Only your derm can lead you in the direction which is right for you.

I'm doing it under my dr. He doesn't carry products, so I ordered online. He told me to start off slowly... He was prescribing retin a and hydroquinnone (sp) on his own... Said system would help too. I'm a system girl. I will stick to it better. Just can't believe how RED I am 1 day in!!! Are you doing a maintenance program now???

I did RxC for awhile and it was good. Now, I have other issues (I'm 72). I don't really need strong stuff for my aging skin so I now use Obagi Gentle Cleanser and a retin A in the pm that will be ok for my super sensitive skin. I also used EltaMD pm therapy. My skin looks great once I got it that way (thanks to Obagi). Now, I try to do laser treatments 2x yearly and, peels in between. I'm always under Dr. supervision when I do anything on my skin. I would never think of doing any harsh treatments on my own. I know it costs $$$ but it's well worth it. I can't afford to damage my skin after I worked for many years to get it this way.

Thank you!!! I've had acne my whole life. 2 courses of accutane and unfortunately a stint in Florida for collegeSmiley Happy I'm so fair that red is the only color I get besides white. Doing this now as a preventative and hopefully to correct some scarring. I went for a peel the other day and she said I didn't need it!! Hoping thus system will maintain!!

The NuDerm system lasts for 18 weeks. When done, you should have an Obagi peel or at least a strong regular peel. Your derm will advise. If you need to get rid of scarring, I would suggest a laser therapy. Laser isn't that expensive and you will like your results. Scarring and hyperpigmentation will be drastically removed. I buy my Obagi products @lovelyskin.com. Their prices are good and they frequently have 20% off. The reddness you are now experiencing will diminish as your skin becomes adjusted to the NuDerm. If it's too raw, use a moisturizer (I like Atopalm; it's great for sensitive skin and isn't expensive). Obagi's moisturizer is good too but it's a bit pricey.

I used this years before. Was it the clear or the blender that I mixed with Retin A?

Checked....it was the blender.

I literally used it one day and I'm peeling in sheets!! I'm going to do twice a week for a few weeks to see if I can't build up
