Thanks Kate! I am going to try rubbing my winter vanilla mint Wen on it, till I can get to Whole Foods to pick up the oils. It's been so busy for me lately. I am looking forward to Sunday, so I can just take a beat and breathe. So much good stuff happening that it makes me forget the bad.

Kate, I also love your Wayne Dyer quote. I love that man.

WVM oil should be really good, based on bebe's info...plus, it smells so divine, it should distract you from the pain a bit :-) Wayne Dyer really is a wonderful man, isn't he? His books have changed me for the better in many, many ways :-)

I love the topic "after the fall" and I know the answers to the questions because everytime I release myself from anger I've been feeling toward a certain family member, I feel infinitely better. Today I walked 6 blocks total without any issue and I can walk up and down the stairs with no pain and little assitance (although I still limp).

Plus I think I could rub Wen on it! I still have bottles of Winter Vanilla Mint and the Winter Cranberry Mint.

Kokathy, I'm glad you liked the topic header. I hope the information helps and that you're on the mend soon. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

beaches, I'm glad the info was helpful to you. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

Kate and Kokathy, last week Wayne Dyer had a new special on PBS for their pledge drive:

* Dr. Wayne Dyer: I Can See Clearly Now

I haven't had a change to sit down and watch it yet, but I'm really looking forward to it. I was curious to know if he if he mentioned his cancer remission that he experienced in conjunction with his long-distance healing through John of God in Brazil.

Oh wow - I knew his new book was coming out soon - I will have to look for him on PBS. I am also interested in his experience with John of God. He spoke with Oprah about it on her Super Soul Sunday program, and it was intriguing. I had the privilege of speaking to him one Sunday evening last year when he was on the Q - I called in and spoke with him; he is just a lovely, lovely man with a wonderful perspective and so much wisdom to impart.

My favorite work of his is "Excuses Begone" - if you haven't read it, I highly recommend it to both of you! {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

Kate, I had been interested in John of God for years because he had been profiled on two episodes of The Oprah Winfrey Show. -- She had a doctor from Harvard Medical School review some of the files from people who had received healings through John of God. The doctor said the results were as good as those found with conventional medicine. In some cases, even conventional medicine couldn't have produced these remissions.

My interest was really peaked when Wayne Dyer was on Super Soul Sunday and talked about his long-distance healing with John of God. After that, Oprah took her film crew down to Abadiana, Brazil and did a one-hour show of The Next Chapter based on the healings provided there through John of God.

A friend of mine went to see John of God this past year and I've had a long-distance healing through John of God. We've each seen remarkable changes.

For myself, I had an abdominal condition (due to a prior internal injury) which my doctor felt would soon require 2-3 emergency surgeries. He didn't share this info with me but just told me to see him again in 3 months. In the interim, I had the long-distance healing. When I next saw my doctor, I asked him to check the area out thoroughly. I could see his confusion as he looked for the area of weakness. Then he told me my condition had stabilized, and that he had expected to have to do 2-3 immediate surgeries. At this point, I don't have to have any additional surgeries.

Then I told him about my experience. I told him that, after I had last seen him, I felt western medicine had done everything that could possibly be done. So I decided to supplement it with another approach which had received a lot of excellent feedback. I wasn't looking for a miracle cure because I feel that is a misinterpretation of the John of God experience. I just surrendered myself to the process, feeling that wiser presences would help to guide my body and spirit. I felt that my illness was an external manifestation of an internal imbalance. So I looked to their wisdom to guide me.

I absolutely believe in western medicine because, if my leg gets broken, I'm going to a doctor to have it set. I just feel my John of God experience enhanced my overall health.

I told my doctor that I didn't know if my stabilized condition was due to John of God, or just a placebo effect. But that if it was a placebo effect, that it was the best darned placebo effect I had ever seen.

At the end of my doctor's appointment, he told me that he didn't have a problem with me having these long-distance healings once or twice a year -- and he's a top-notch specialist. I just about fell off my chair. My doctor knows that I use supplements and use alternative methods to help maintain my health. I've told him about how I essentially crumbed a very large fibriod tumor, over 1.5 year period, by using Nattokinase (from Enzymedica, 1-2 capsules daily) and Maca (from Whole World Botanicals, start and stay low-dose, 1/8 - 1/2 teaspoon daily max.)

What I really admire about John of God is that he is a very humble man who lives very simply. He states that he doesn't do the healing but that up to nine specific different entities will enter his body and provide the healing. John of God is simply a channel for the entities.

As I mentioned earlier, this is not a quick-fix-for-this-medical-condition-right-now experience. People who have a very narrow focus can be disappointed. This experience is more about surrendering yourself to the process and allowing the entities to help you rebalance your body and soul. Our bodies are remarkable, sacred vessels and they can heal themselves if we can get out of our own way. Healing is not the goal, healing is simply the way.

P.S. There is an excellent book about John of God written by Josie Ravenwing.

Bebe, you are very wise yourself! To realize that Western medicine is not everything is a very hard thing for most people to accept in this day and age. Faith is a huge part of healing, and an essential part, at that. I am so glad to hear that you did not have to go through the surgery, and I am so fascinated by your experience! Did you wear white and follow all of his traditional customs? That's really amazing, and I'm so pleased for you. Did your friend also have good results? Thanks for sharing your very personal story...sending you light, love and blessings!

Kate, Thank you so much for your kind word. I really appreciate them. *s*

For the long-distance healing I did wear all-white. And I followed the instructions to the letter. Especially after Wayne Dyer talked about his mistake with not following the instructions closely enough. I really did feel the effects of surgery while it was happening. I was fine, but it turned out that I could have asked the entities for anesthesia (which would have been a good thing). Most people don't usually feel pain but I did. That said, it was containable and I moved through it.

There is an 8 day basic recovery period, and I sure needed it. I found that my recovery felt much like a post-surgery recovery. I had a gallon of water by my bedside and as well as nuts, fruits & cereal to eat. I took it very slowly for 8-10 days. During this time, I focused on Abadiania on Wed.-Fri. during the times that John of God was in session with everyone. I could really feel in communion with them.

After the first eight days, I started to come back to my usual self. My friend saw more tangible results more quickly. I was a bit disappointed, so I kept reminding myself that each person has their own way. It wasn't until my next doctor's visit that I understood the extent of the blessing I had received. Over time, there has been other, more spiritual rebalancing. I will definitely be doing another long-distance healing in the future.

Wow, that is so amazing! Your story really has me smiling, not only because it has helped your healing so much, but also because there is so much that is beyond our grasp! It's so amazing to me that spiritual healing can have such an impact. There is so much out there that we will never understand, but in which we must have faith, so we CAN heal. Incredible - I hope you continue to remain in good health! :-)
