Hi, Hilary - I use Philosophy's Miracle in a Jar moisturizer. I had a rough patch of skin on the left side of my face that nothing helped - i tried dozens of moisturizers, including Olay, Neutragena, Avon and Mary Kaye, all great brands, but nothing softened it. One time with Miracle and it almost immediately felt soft like the rest of my skin. I've been using it for over a year now, have it on A-D - best moisturizer I ever used, and that rough patch has stayed smooth and soft.

Sorry, the actual name is Miracle Worker.

bebe-

Just an FYI, Vitamin K actually assists with blood clotting, it is not a blood thinner. It is used to reverse the effects of coumadin (a blood thinner). We give it to our surgery patients sometimes to help reverse the effects of their blood thinners in order for them to have unplanned surgery. That is why patients on coumadin are warned not to consume large amounts of greens because the vitamin k in the greens can interfere with the action of the blood thinner.

Update: I just received my Clarisonic Mia 2 a few days ago. This thing is the bomb!!! My face felt so soft and smooth after using it for the first time. You can really tell that it cleans a lot better than just a washcloth. I am looking forward to seeing how my skin will improve with continued use. Thank you to the ladies that raved about this product. It really is great. I'm glad I got it. Smiley Happy

Hilary,

My Clarisonic has been a great investment. They seem to have a Clarisonic TSV every 3-4 months. They add a number of extras to the Clarisonic, so it may he worth it to wait for the next TSV.

Some of the ways my Clarisonic has benefited my face include:

* in one use, my pore size (especially on my nose) diminished. This is because the Clarisonic gently exfoliates those pores and, thus, allows them to shrink in size naturally. I couldn't believe the results. I just kept looking at my face over and over again in the mirror. -- It reminds me of when I first started cleansing my hair with Wen. My hair became so soft that I couldn't stop touching it for 3-4 months. Smile

* Within a few uses, I noticed a gentle reduction of facial lines. I think this may have something to do with its gentle facial stimulation (maybe along the lines of what a NuFace or DermaWand would do, thought less pronounced).

* My face has more of a glow to it. It looks healthier. I'm guessing this is because the skin can now breathe more easily (because it was cleaner), as well as because of the microcirculation.

* It has reduced my raccoon eyes. My mother, my sister and I all bruise very easily (probably due to genetically weaker blood vessels). So, in my case, the blood vessels around my eyes leak a bit which leads to these prominent under eye circles. Using my Clarisonic has helped to significantly reduce these under eye circles. I think the Clarisonic helps to stimulate lymph drainage in the under eye area which helps to more this pool of excess blood out of the under eye area. -- My thread below has more information about what has helped reduce my under eye circles.

Hilary, I think you'll love the Clarisonic!!

-- bebe Smile

I love it!!!

I love Josie Maran body butter and the Mally gel nail kit. Gel nails at home have really given my nails new life, since I stopped polishing/manicuring regularly due to the terrible way nail polish would chip so quickly on my nails. Josie Maran body butter is just sooooo delicious and decadent. I can't resist that stuff.

I like lots of things that have already been mentioned. I also really like dennis basso faux fur throws. I have two and really enjoy them and so do my cats. Even though mine say dryclean, i have washed both in cold water and dried on delicate and they have come out just fine.
