OT - How often do you replace your bras?

OK ladies - this is not a beauty related question but I heard Jacque Gonzales o(n QVC today for Breezies show) say we are supposed to replace our bras every six months but realistically probably every 12 months. Just wondering if anyone does. Funny I was just looking at some of my Victoria's Secrets bras that DH bought me last Christmas and they are started to show a little wear and tear already and that was a little over six months ago. They are just so darn expensive. Or is this just one of the sales tactics QVC uses to get us to buy Breezies bras.....?!?
