Re: OH YES....RMS TSV ORDERED

Well I am trying again. If the foundation works I will be soooo happy. If not it can join all my other foundations that don't work. I get confused on cool vs warm. Oh well we will see.

For anyone hesitating because of shade choice and you know what works in other brands, go to RMS website and click on the Re-evolve foundation and just above Add to Cart, there is a white box that reads Find My Shade. There are 3 drop-down boxes 1- select from one of many makeup brands listed that you have been shade tested for; 2- choose a product from that brand you use; 3- choose the color in that product that you use. It gives you the shade in RMS that will work for you based on what you enter. At that point you can refine the search by adding additional brands/products/colors if you wish.

I haven't seen a shade finder so specific before and found it so helpful.

@jazzed - thank you for suggesting this!  I went and tried the shade finder using my Kosas foundation as a guide and I should have ordered 22.5 - Cool Beige instead of 22 Light/Medium.  Was able to edit my order and get the Cool Beige.  I had wondered about getting Cool Beige but wasn't sure so went a bit lighter.  You were right, it was a very specific shade finder which was wonderful.

@mnmom   Not sure if you're asking anyone or everyone, but I've changed to all cream products...blush, eyes, etc.

Most powder or heavy coverage foundations settle in any of my lines. I'd much rather use something light coverage and then use concealer where needed.

@jazzed  Thanks for shade finder information. I am tired of buying wrong color cosmetics, at least now I have a fighting chance I picked the right color.

@JudyL  Glad it helped!  FYI, Rosemarie did mention a few times that shades are very forgiving, so maybe a deviation one way or the other would work anyway. I am really looking forward to receiving this.

@Shanus, Thank you for your suggestions as you are already familiar with the products. Was wondering about the concealer. Mascara that melts down and one-size fits all cheek and lips don't usually work for me. Sounds like we have similar skin shade.

Re: OH YES....RMS TSV ORDERED

I ordered the TSV.. I really liked the look of the foundation, and like that you can try the lip balm, mascara and luminizer. I wonder if I will need to put a powder over it, as I have Combination skin, and the model Alicia's skin looked great, but it also looked like she may have needed a tiny bit of a finishing powder!

I have plenty, so will play that by ear, once I receive it!

Anyone else order? I ordered the Honey Shade.

Re: OH YES....RMS TSV ORDERED

@jazzed   The concealer doesn't have much coverage. I still use my Nars. If you carry this foundation up under the eye area, it provides some coverage and a lot of hydration to make most other concealers apply easier on top.

@CANDLEQUEEN   I do use a bit of transluscent setting powder just in the t zone.

@Shanus Thanks, I think I will save this one for Winter, but will try it out right away to make sure I have the correct shade. Most Liquid foundations I have to use a setting powder, with the exception of Il Makiage, that one I don't need a powder.
