But there isn't.

Not even if you print the label from your qvc account? I could have sworn I saw I tracking # when I tossed my packing slip one time & had to do a return.

I misunderstood your comment; yes, there is a number, but the tracking status just says "unavailable." I also wrote the USPS 9200+ tracking number, and that doesn't show anything, either.

Speaking of returns, does anyone know about the extended holiday return policy? Does it have to be back BY the 30th of January, or postmarked by then?

There's a postage increase on January 26, if you pay your own ... I'd mail it before then.

Do you offer an extended return policy during the holidays?

Yes, you can shop with confidence this holiday season! Any gifts you purchase from September 22, 2013 through December 23, 2013 at Noon ET can be returned for any reason until January 31, 2014. You can exchange the item (if available) or you can return the gift for a full refund of the purchase price and original Shipping & Handling charges.

I don't really know what this means but I certainly wouldn't take any chances. If you know it needs to be returned, I'd get it returned.

When I read the first email I quickly jumped up to see if they received my returned Santas (NOT SO) Best Christmas Tree, I cannot find if they received it or not. I have to call them. This tree was a disaster from day 1, I had to replace a bulb I think within 1 hour of it being up. Then every day or few it was another problem.

Here is the good news. You can file a dispute if you used a cc and the cc co should give you your money back.

Thank you for that reminder.

A similar thing just happened to me with HSN. Returned an item with their label, but didn't get their email confirmation it was on the way back and couldn't find anything on it. Emailed them and they found it was on the way still 11 days later. I was relieved it wasn't lost, but wrote back that that was pretty slow, but thank you. Next email I got from them was that they were refunding my money immediately including the return fee. Pretty nice considering they didn't have the item back yet.

I believe if it's postmarked by the return date, they'll let it slide.

Because of the shipping situation at Christmas, I waited a little longer to return two holiday packages to QVC.

The return label from QVC stated that I could put the package in my mailbox, hand it to my postal carrier, or take it to the post office. My husband dropped them off at the post office & he received a receipt with both packages individually scanned & a tracking number for each package.

I received confirmation from QVC [which I checked off on the packing slip], that my packages were received & my account was credited within a week of sending them back.

Perhaps it is just taking longer for your packages to show up. I would just keep checking in with customer service. It could just be an oversight or a backlog of returns.
