ladies....please help me out....my mattress is so hard I do nothing but toss and turn all night long. I have hip/shoulder/elbow pain as I am a side sleeper....it's so bad it wakes me up and I have to roll over again....happens so many times all night long I feel tired all the time.

The mattress level of firmness was bought with my spouse's body weight....I couldn't get him to understand I needed it to be just abit softer....so for 10yrs we have this bed that is too firm for me and I am so miserable.

Is there a local store I can run out to and pick up something to help? I am leary of any kind of memory foam topper as I have heard reviews that it makes you sweat badly....I already am at a age where that's a issue...I don't know if that's true or not. Also, what if I buy one and it doesn't work for me? wonder if stores take them back?

Please anyone....someone who has gone thru this let me know what you did? We are going to begin looking at mattress again....finally....but I don't want another mistake....it's so expensive and I need something to get by on until we find one. He weighs much more then me and needs a different firmness so I am thinking we should get 2 twins and push them together on top of the existing box spring we have...anyone doing this??
