O/T - MAMMOGRAMS!!!!

I apologize for the O/T but this is just so important, ladies.

Please, please, please get your mammograms on a regular basis. If you don't have insurance, or it doesn't cover, there is almost always help available from state, county or local programs. Call your Dr's office and ask about it.

I had my physical 3 weeks ago and she did a complete breast exam. I do regular self breast exams. I had my mammorgram December 31. On Jan 3, I was given the diagnosis of Stage II invasive ductal carcinoma. No one could feel a lump.

If it had not been for getting my yearly mammogram, I would have not known I have breast cancer, so please get your mammogram - early detection is so vital - some breast cancers are only found this way.
