no laughing here..They closed schools in PA too..Cant have the kids waiting outside for a bus for 10-15mins or more in this weather.

-11 degrees this a.m. with windchills -30. Now it has warmed up to -1. Southwest lower Michigan. Oh yeah and a foot of new snow fell in the past 48 hours. We are still under a winter storm warning.

My thermometer said -9 degrees when I got up this morning and it warmed up to 2 degrees this afternoon (Michigan).

Here in Mo. it was -11 night before last, last night -5 and never got over 11 degrees in the daytime yesterday. BUT...today the wind switched to the south and we hit almost 40 degrees ABOVE 0. Yoohoo!! The sun is bright and the thaw has started.
