Yep. Mother nature can kiss it as far as I'm concerned. People are getting postal around here. It's bad. Really bad.

GAWD..how much more can everyone take? It's terrible and I feel awful for everyone.

I saw on the news last week that people were pointing guns at the snow plow people because they were blowing snow on their walkways that they had just shoveled.

I've seen some youtube videos on various states on these snow storms and can't believe how high the snow is on the roadsides and the cars sliding everywhere. Terrible.

We had 5 inches today. My kitchen has a sliding glass door to the backyard that's 2 feet off the ground. The snow is about 28 inches. I keep thinking one morning I'll wake up and find snow in the kitchen. I'm thankful the crazy cold temperatures have stopped.

I always tell myself there are millions of human beings in N. Korea, Syria, Somalia and elsewhere who would be happy to trade places with me. It puts things in perspective.

I live in the mountains and winter has totally skipped us this year Smiley Sad

Skin is the least of our problems.

PinkSugar, I bet potential forest fires are a real concern for you and your neighbors. We've already had some grass fired around Albuquerque. It's going to be a bad fire season. Pray for the monsoon!

LOVE WINTER!!! Why:

1. Snow is beautiful!

2. It's quiet at night when you go to bed.

3. No loud birds chirping at 4am to wake you up.

4. You can hunker down near a nice fire.

5. Going for a walk in the cold is so invigorating. Much better than walking in the heat.

6. Skiing and snowshoeing are awesome (and I'm in my mid 50's)

That's why I love winter!
