The house we're renting is wired for phone service but the owners never got it hooked up as they use their cell phones while here.
DH needs a phone for his job, preferably NOT with my cell phone, but that does work in a pinch. We'd like to use a VoIP but have never done so. I know Vonage is a big provider and someone mentioned Magic Jack. I know the commercial for MJ has phone service for around $10 per YEAR which seems far too good to be true.
Does anyone have experience with a VoIP, how they work and which is the best? I'm not a Consumer Reports subscriber but if anyone is, can you check to see if they've done a study on VoIPs and report back??
