I looked for an answer here but did not find it. I need something different to use with my machine. When I use water, it doesn't glide as well. Aloe Vera seems to make me break out. I was thinking about putting some Wen oil in my water bottle and see how that works.

Just wondering if anyone was having any luck with something else.

Thanks!

I have been using the spray that came with mine. I can not use the gels because I get rashes from them. It is called the optimizing mist.

A few have posted they used gels that were for ultrasound. Not as goopy, easy to wash off. I don't know a brand name, though, but you can probably Google it. When I was using my NuFace, I found those for sale on Drugstore.com, amazon, eBay, etc. Don't know if your local drugstore carries it but you might give them a call.

snowball, how long does your NuFace treatment last? Since I had to go over every little inch (wall-to-wall sag and droop) it was taking me about 40 minutes.

ETA: If they could come out with a device that didn't require a gel (or even the optimizing mist), like Tria did with the age defying laser, I'd make the effort again.

Maren, it was taking me 20 minutes for the one side of my face, and then another 20 and then more time for under the jawline and forehead. So yes, it was taking me over an hour. Sometimes longer because I would concentrate on the jawline a lot more.

Kimberly,

I use Isomers serums for with my Nuface, love the thought of double duty while using it.

You need to use the Nuface gel primer or Nuface cream primer to ensure the conductivity of the microcurrent. If you find the Nuface gel too expensive you can purchase generic conductivity gels from sources like Amazon. I would not use just water or just a serum, although you can use serums under the primer. I apply the gel on one section of my face, use the device, then apply the gel to the next section to avoid the gel drying out.
