November TSV - "Bare Luxury" - Review!

It's here, it's HERE! Smiley Happy So I admit I JUST got home, cracked open the box (the box with Box of Gems is still unopened, it's THAT new!), and am posting my initial thoughts. I will come back with more details and photos as soon as I can.

So, for those questioning the combination of colors in the READY palette, the kit is intended to give you TWO different looks...hence the two eyeliners and two lipglosses. I suspected that was the case, but the insert with the kit confirms that. Smiley Happy This is typical QVC exclusive packaging...the gold clutch is wrapped in celophane, the kit items are in a clear bubble package, and all of it was stuffed in a box with a tip sheet.

So the instructions tell you to pick ONE of the READy colors to start. Golden Iris is a slightly peachy brown color in the palette. It is meant to make blue eyes more intensely blue, green eyes look lighter green, hazel eyes more intese, and highlight and bring out amber flecks in brown eyes...according to the tip sheet. If you choose Golden Iris, you then use 10pm Round the Clock Eyeliner, which is similar to charbronze in my quick swatch on my hand, only it has golden flecks in it. The Moxie lipgloss in Wild One goes in this combo. I would describe it as a cotton candy pink in the tube.

If you choose Azure Iris, you are getting a bluer shade of purple...it is not quite a light lilac, but similar in tone to the color that came in the recent Pretty Wild kit (the name escapes me right now, sorry)...it might be a tad darker. Azure Iris, according to the tip sheet, will make blue eyes look illuminated and icy cool, green eyes more intensely green, hazel eyes highlighted with amber flecks, and brown eyes enhanced with navy tones. This pairs with Round the Clock eyeliner in Noon, a very midnight blue shade. I would call this "blacker" or "inkier" than Midnight B&B. I don't have the Ink B&B to compare. The Moxie lipgloss in Dare Devil goes with this look as well. It's a very dark gloss, similar to Pomegranate, but a bit more violet in tint.

Rose Gold Radiance goes with either look. This is a pinky looking radiance with a slightly violet leaning in it. That is in the jar, anyway. Will know more in the coming days when I play.

The clutch is glittery gold...reminds me much of the gold glittery Toms shoes, for those familiar with the reference. it's just a clutch, one compartment inside. The brushes are a flawless face and full tapered shadow with shiny gold handles...nothing special about the brush heads, just the awesome handles! Smiley Happy

So far, I really like what I see and I can't wait to play with this. Well worth the money on easy pay. I hope ALL of the kits follow with the "two looks" concept. I suspect the coordinating liner can be used in the crease with a Smudge brush, and that is what I intend to try! Smiley Happy More thoughts to follow...
