Re: November Insider - Joan Rivers

Yes, my words were a bit extreme. Just such a big loss. I still can't believe Joan Rivers is really gone. Thank you for your kind responses. Smile (And good point about the timing of the November issue.)

Re: November Insider - Joan Rivers

Is this thing about Joan going to go on forever? When will people stop stirring up her dear soul and let her rest in peace ?

Who is it that you are trying to impress with these thoughts and actions? They memorialized Joan properly, why can't you people let her go in peace?

It is very painful for many people to keep the buried deceased "unburied". Let them R.I.P. respectfully. She had magnanamous coverage at her time of departure. I notice this was not requested of other celebrities who recently went home to be with our Lord.

And don't even say it is because she sold her items at the Q. I think it's more than that.

Yes, it's getting over the top. Let it go already.

For those that are tired of hearing about JR or reading about her, then my advice would be not to open a thread where her name is clearly in the subject line.

Re: November Insider - Joan Rivers

I understand the post on letting Joan go, yet still for some like me it was just terrible.

I understand letting her rest in peace, but again Joan & Peace ????????? Joan would love this little uproar over her getting fast billing and cover time.

But again in all Respect some share sorrow so different .

Miss you Joan-----

Re: November Insider - Joan Rivers

Would have been nice, but I have to say I'm not buying more Joan just because it's Joan.

I have a few of her items and that will be my Joan collection. I'm just too close to her age when she left us to make use of more. For me, her sudden death was another harsh reminder to me how little time there really is. It doesn't help my thinking that although I'm healthy enough right now at 73, so were my mother and my best friend. Both died at 81 as our Joan did.

I'm wearing my bee pin more often these days. I can't wear it without remembering her or thinking about its meaning.

ETA The Insider may be printed months before we see it. They seem to know the TSV's a year in advance, not just a few weeks.

Agreed. Happy that she was shown on page 3. That was nice of QVC to not ax that.

Re: November Insider - Joan Rivers

If you want a Joan tribute, I believe it's People magazine that has one on the newsstands.

QVC has done enough .... time to move on.

For those who are "still dealing with" her passing ....... maybe professional help is in order. {#emotions_dlg.unsure}
