Not really loving the IT Cosmetics Liners.

Hi Ladies,

Has anyone else tried these? They're supposed to be "no-tug"? Well, I'm a liner junkie and I've tried soooo many, always looking for my HG. These are not HG. I find that I really have to press to get any color payoff from the pencil. They don't feel smooth on my lids. They actually feel kinda hard. I bought these during the CEW Cancer & Careers shopping night. They were a good price and I thought I'd give them a shot. However, I'm debating whether or not I should return. It was a purchase with the proceeds going to charity and I feel, well, weird returning. However, they will be just shoved into the drawer I keep liners in, never to be used again.

Any opinions on these liners?

I know what you mean about returning. I haven't tried these because I already have my HG liner, Mally's Starlight liners. Have you tried hers? No tugging.

These were a miss for me too. I didn't think they were any better than a normal pencil. I'm not very talented at applying eyeliner, and it was very obvious when I used these! I switched to the Mally gel in the pot and am thrilled. Actually, I had better luck using the Mally shadow sticks as a liner, than the It gel pencils.

Urban De Cay 24/7 is very smooth.

I haven't tried IT liners but I do love her mascara! (and the tightline). I'd like to try a gel liner pencil since every pencil I've tried, including Mally's, basically evaporates into thin air! I did note the Tarte (I got a sample in a test tube) stayed on longer than most but it crumbles so easily when you use it!

As for the OP's conundrum: Vacuum (the board police wouldn't allow another word) it up. It's for a good cause Smiley Happy You can always vent in your review of the product

Re: Not really loving the IT Cosmetics Liners.

I have the plum and champagne. I like the plum for lining the underside of my top lid. It doesn't smudge the way a lot of supposedly bulletproof liners do (including the Trish McEvoy Gel Pencil that I returned). The color is also not as harsh as black but gives my eyes definition. The champagne I use on the inner corners where I have some darkness and it brightens it right up. I find them easy to use and as long as they truly don't smear I am very happy.

I had returned these when they first came out. One actually dried into a hard thin cylinder inside the case and I always cap them! I don't think they have found a way for the moisture to stay in the gel.
