I received this today. I feel 2 or 3 months ago I was lied to! I don't like that at all!! thank you for contacting philosophy. unfortunately, inner grace fragrance was recently been retired and can no longer be ordered. many factors are considered prior to discontinuing any of our beloved products. we sincerely apologize for any disappointment this may have caused.

this is what's almost more annoying than realizing your favorite fragrance is going away-- you ask the company so that you can stock up on your fave before it disappears and/or find a new fragrance. when they tell you it's not going anywhere or don't really answer your question (when i asked a philosophy rep if eternal grace was being discontinued she answered "eternal grace is with us and i'm so glad!") you're not really sure what to do. and if, like me, you don't just go ahead and stock up then you're annoyed when you find out that you were right and then maybe feel like you were mislead by a company that has taken the time to cultivate a feeling of community on tv and online. i don't see why it's such a big deal to just confirm that something is going away when it is. seems like you'd get more sales from people who want to get it while they can and you don't end up creating this feeling that you were dishonest to your customers you purport to value. how would that hurt the bottom line?

Wow! So they finally admitted what many of us already "knew". And the fragrance TSV before last, in the Q&A section on the forum, there was Dara Lynn and the others responding to requests to include IG as an option, promising they'd work on that! They just say whatever is expedient now. ("Beloved products" indeed!)

Coty, as a company, has made so many detrimental changes to the product range. It seems to me that, for the fragrance side of things, they're just spending all their time coming up with endless "variations". I was in Nordstrom Rack today and was about to pick up a bottle of the FIL shower gel, when I realized it was "FIL Summer"! Say what??? The "Summer" wasn't all that noticeable and the bottle/color, etc. was exactly the same.

I will not only find other fragrances, I'll be finding other skincare products, too. If we can't trust them with one side of the business, we can't trust them with any of it. ${#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}$

ETA: And why didn't they feel they could tell us ahead of time that IG was being discontinued, when so many asked? I wouldn't trust another word any of them said.

I, too, was told by Philosophy CS a couple of months ago that IG was not being discontinued. Thanks for the followup, prairie girl.

Inner Grace was really a very lovely scent. Why do companies always disappoint with their discontinuing products?

They were selling a multi-Grace set, and Dara mentioned that this is one of the last ways to obtain Inner Grace (also my fave). She added that they do listen to customers who ask for particular scents, but it appears this fragrance is going "into the vault" for now.

Thanks sashamatthews. I just checked Philosophy.com and there is no inner grace.
