My eyes became bloodshot last week, and because I work in a school environment, I thought it might be pinkeye. Then, on Sunday, a red bump appeared on one of my lower eyelids. Now, I am having knee replacement surgery next week, and I don't want anything to interfere with this surgery which has been scheduled for three months, so I went to the doctor yesterday. It was diagnosed as a stye and I was prescribed eye drops to fix the problem. However, I can not wear eye make-up and I feel naked. I washed all of my brushes tonight. The good thing is that because my knee hurts so bad, I left school a week earlier than I had originally planned, so I am not going out in public anyway. Oh yes---the surgery is still scheduled as planned.
