I have not used Nix's products in years, so I can't speak to their color safety.  

However, I can say WEN never hurts my highlights.

@shamus, I have used Nick's Advanced Volume Shampoo & Conditioner since he introduced them, and I color my base and have highlights over that. The color stays beautifully, and my hair is healthy. The TSV is a great deal, especially with the hairspray

Nick Chavez makes Color-Saver Sulafate-Free shampoo and Color-Saver Paraben-Free conditioner. That's only sold at Nick's site, though. I'll post what Nick Chavez does have on QVC that won't fade and/or strip hair color.
