I just started using Wen. For my hair I use 16 pumps from the 16 oz bottle. I use 8 pumps for my 1st cleanse & 8 pumps for the 2nd cleanse. Is that how you use it? Does everyone do 2 cleanses? I have not tried it just using 1 cleanse. My hair likes POM best out of the TT, POM & BGT which are the only ones I have tried so far. No frizz after using the POM but had some frizz after using TT or BGT. Which product would I use to tame the frizz? I don't blow dry my hair I just comb & let air dry. I also have not added a pump after cleansing like Chaz says after reading on the forums some say hair was better not doing that. Guess I should try it to see how it works for me. I have an oily scalp & dry hair. TIA

I do 2 cleanses unless I'm grabbing a quick shower because I'm sweaty or grimy from some activity or another.
How much you use depends on your hair length and thickness. Make sure you use enough - it's very different from ""normal"" shampoo and conditioners. You need to use enough (and splash water to thin it out) for the best results.

Thanks Cosmic & Pupptat. I started with the 16 pumps total since the PDF chart on the CC page says to use that much for medium length hair. My hair is just a tad shorter then the lady in the pic. on the chart. I do add water while cleansing. I'm pretty sure I'm using enough & getting it rinsed out good. I can tell when I still have some in my hair by how it feels. My hair is not thick at all it has thinned a lot. I guess that goes along with being hypothyroid & getting older. I'm also using the TT Oil 2-3 times per week.
I just looked at the chart again. I was looking at how many pumps to use for the 32 oz bottle not the 16 oz. It shows to use 12 on each cleanse. I think that would be too much for my about shoulder length thinning hair.

That was my very first cat's name, Puddy. I always do two cleanses because you're not stripping so to really get a good cleanse I feel two are important unless you don't use any leave in or styling creme or any other leave in product. Those need to be cleansed out and start fresh with your next cleanse. I need two because my scalp is super oily. My first cleanse and rinse and I can still feel the oil in my scalp and roots. After my second has been rinsed, it then feels completely clean. I always use enough to make sure that my whole scalp and all the hair down to the ends is covered in cleansing conditioner and I get it all creamed up so much that it's dripping gobs down. I need two pumps of leave in and two pumps of styling creme. I then use five or six spritzes of replenish mist and mix all that together and apply to soaking wet hair after my hair is completely cleansed and rinsed at the end of my shower. Then I apply eight to ten pumps of mousse and two pumps of gloss. Long hair can get very tangly. I guess everyone's hair is different and each have their own regimen. Chaz says experiment and see what works for you.

I did not put anything on my hair after I cleansed it twice. I just combed it & let it dry. Looked great using the POM & had some frizz when I used TT & when I used the BGT. The next day the frizz was gone & my hair looked a lot better.

something else i think is helpful is to use chazs' wide tooth comb during the first cleanse. My hair is long so i use about 12-16 pumps out of the 32 oz bottle for the first cleanse. First, really rinse out your hair really well with water before you cleanse. Add the cc and massage into scalp and run through the hair. Add a few splashes of water and get the cc frothy. Massage the scalp and run through the hair again. Then I use the comb . Somehow when I started using the comb the process worked better and my hair felt cleaner. The comb distributes the cc better and somehow I think it rinses out better. Then I do my second cleanse with about 8 pumps or so. The second cleanse I leave in for the rest of the shower. I always use tt or bgt for my first cleanse and a seasonal for the second. The seasonals smell so good I cant resist them. Also, I always use 1 pump of cc as a leave in and always always use 1 pump of the styling cream. No frizz

I ordered the comb & few things to try from his site on Cyber Monday. I left the 1st cleanse on while I showered, rinsed & repeated & rinsed again. I believe I'm rinsing well as DH came back while I was in the shower 1st time I used the CC & asked if I was OK. LOL!!!

Thank you for starting this. I am a newbie also and reading everyone's suggestions are really helpful. Thanks again for all of you ladies for helping us newbies out.

Enjoying the process I see! I too am taking longer showers than I used to. Nothing wrong with that.
