Hi Ladies. I just received my TSV from this past Saturday. I am a new WEN user, so I am just researching exactly how to use it. I have color-treated hair. I get it touched up every 5 weeks. Are all the CC's ok to use on color treated hair? I purchased the Pomegranate CC. Thanks for your help!

I have color treated hair and use all the formulas on mine without any problem. Pomegranate is considered a universal formula - a good place for you to start. It's soy based, like the seasonals. The one thing I can't stress enough is that you follow the directions exactly. Do not try to skimp on the amount of pumps your hair needs and be sure to rinse, rinse, rinse! A WEN Comb is a very good tool to help distribute product through your hair and also in helping to get it out of your hair when rinsing. If you don't have one, I strongly suggest you get one. Don't go with a cheap imitation as it isn't the same and could damage your hair.

Good luck. If you have any questions there are lots of users here ready to help you.

Hi! I'm pretty new to WEN myself--and have learned a lot by reading here.

Along with what JLF said, be liberal with water while cleansing...use enough to really froth the product up (you'll know--it will feel light & silky in your hair). Scrub and I mean "scrub" your scalp with the pads of your fingers, just like you would with shampoo. Rinse til your hair squeaks, running your fingers thru your hair while you rinse. Use the comb while the water runs thru your hair for a final rinse.

Good luck!

I agree with this. Froth is key, and Pomegranate froths really well. Use the directed amount of pumps, splashes of water, and froth froth froth. And then rinse rinse rinse.

Hehe...sounds like a dance or exercise move...froth, froth, froth, and rinse, rinse, rinse. But it's what works, right?!
