Anyone have a ROKU box? I stream all my TV and I see there is a new free channel called ON Beauty with Beauty tips. I am going to check it out.

I'm not real good at the techie stuff so I hope I can make sense out of it for you. The ROKU device costs somewhere around $80-ish or so, and is about the size of a hockey puck. You hook it up to your tv in one of the spare HDMI ports. When you want to watch a ROKU channel, you have to switch the TV to that port and use a separate ROKU remote control to make your selections. Within these ROKU channels, there's an on demand type feature where you can watch something that's already been broadcast in case you missed the live broadcast or just want to replay. Within the ROKU "store" there are all kinds of channels to choose from, from all kinds of interest categories - some have a subscription fee and some do not. I think with some of those subscription fees they might be a one time thing, while others are monthly. Before I got my ROKU, I had a subscription to a website that would broadcast on the computer only (no cable, satellite, etc). Since that website is offered on the ROKU (why I got it in the first place), with that monthly subscription fee I can watch the broadcast on the television, which I find much more convenient because I can be moving around the house doing other things rather than tied to my desk to be able to view it. The ROKU has several movie subscription choices available, some very uncommon ones that play old or uncommon movies, but I know Netflix is in there, too. I haven't done it yet, but there's a way to watch YouTube on it and you can also Facebook on the television with it. I hope that kind of gives you an idea of what the ROKU is.
