Hi. Today I received a letter from QVC about my next auto delivery for Purity. I skipped my recent shipment, because I still have half a 32 oz bottle. It states the next shipment will have an updated look and packaging. The formula is improved and no longer will include paribens, phthalates or formaldehyde’s.
If if any one gets the new formula, can you please come and review and share your comments? Just want to see what everyone thinks. Formula changes don’t always seem better. Maybe this will be better. Thanks.

My experience with anything New & Improved means just the opposite! Never as good as the original.

Big Purity fan here.
I'm thinking taking those 3 ingredients out is a good thing.

I dont see any formaldehyde in there, usually listed as DMDM Hydantoin, but I do see the parabens. Now, if they would just remove the artificial dyes too, that would be another good thing.

This is very interesting and hopefully good news. While I think this is potentially a move in the right direction, I've seen other companies advertising chemical compounds they are removing from their products-clean beauty. What concerns me is what they are NOT saying they're replacing them with. Something has to be used to make formulations shelf stable, extend the life of scents etc.🤔
I'm hopeful that perhaps they have found a way to make products that were formally dependent on these chemicals, much safer for the consumer. Time for me to do a little detective work😁🤞

I bet Philosophy is probably working on removing sulfates from all their body wash/shampoos. Hello, we are in the 21st century. I stopped using their body wash because it dried my skin. i stopped using Purity because it burned my eyes. It is probably a good thing that Philosophy updated the Purity.

Even Perlier and Korres both still use sulfates in their body washes. Phil will most likely replace the parabens wth phenoxethanol, most have done that . Brands that are really non toxic often use Japanese Honeysuckle as their preservative.

Interesting news! I was a Philosophy girl for ~9 years, then decided to venture out to new lines. I'd be interested to hear reviews as well. This might make me want to give it a try.
