I used to use the old color glaze in blonde and it helped keep my blonde...blonde and helped me get thru until my next visit to my colorist. I really liked the product...then they disc'd it at all stores. Went to some online sites for awhile to get more...then even they didn't have it anymore.

I'm not sure I need it now since I've gone a whole other route. But I did really like the old product a lot.

Colour Refresh Gloss. Hmm. I wonder if that's different than the JF product I bought at Walgreen's yesterday, which is called "luminous GLAZE Clear Shine Gloss".

Quite frankly, this brand confuses me to no end. I got hooked on it when they had a Voluminizing Shampoo for Blondes. It gave me volume like no other shampoo before, and without imparting any color, it added shine to my highlighted hair. Loved it. Maybe my favorite product ever -- and then they discontinued it nearly two years ago.

Now they have a volumizing line and a color enhancing line (that actually changes your hair color gradually over time according to the label, which I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole) and another one that adds shine to colored or highlighted hair. It works, but isn't great if you need volume. So now I choose between thin and shiny or voluminous and dull.

And then there are these glosses and glazes that are special treatments...............I'm so confused, I could pull my hair OUT~!! lol.

Agree, John Freida doesn't really care about customer loyalty. I'd used the Born Blonde Moisturizing shampoo and the conditioner and loved it! All of a sudden it's gone from the shelves and as you said a bunch of strange other melded products show up none of which I feel comfortable using. I have fine blonde color treated hair.....I need a MOISTURIZER not a "root stimulator". Also I get a lot of customer emails from JF -- never with any coupons in them. Why bother, JF?

I now use the Pantene Color Preserve Volumizing shampoo and conditioner. It works very well and goes on sale frequently at CVS and RITE AIDE. They also have a Color Preserve Shine shampoo and conditioner which I'm going to try next.

I have the same type of hair, Candy -- but haven't had any luck with Pantene. Haven't tried the one you like, though so I might reconsider and give it a chance.

In the February issue of Lucky this JF product gets a mention. According to the article you should gloss every few weeks to keep your color looking good. In-salon is best but this is good and Rita Hazan's Foaming Color Gloss.

My daughter used Pantene when she was younger and living with me. It never worked for me. Out of desperation I tried the Pantene Color Preserve. It works okay. Not as well as the JF discontinued products but it gives a good deal of volume. The Color Preserve is, I think, a new line for Pantene. You may want to give it a try,

I tried it yesterday and it's very, very good!!! Best thing I've done for my hair in a very long time. It somehow seemed to close the cuticle (which I always thought was a b.s. phrase), added shine AND pumped up my volume.

I put on dry hair, waited 30 minutes and then shampoo'd. Very happy. I'm going to go back and buy another box because I'm superstitious. If I really like something I'm afraid it will be discontinued! lol.
