I got an e-mail from the IT website this morning that says they are launching a brand new foundation.  It is called Your Skin but Better, and comes in a bottle and pump rather than the tube.  It looks like Bye Bye Lines foundation.  For right now it is 39.50 and comes with a free brush.  I'm wondering why they didn't let QVC run it as a TSV last week.

Hopefully they've added shades that don't make you look jaundice.

I wonder why they are calling it new.  I have tried this from their website and it does not give full coverage.  So if someone has a really great flawless unlined face, it will work for you but I do have lines as well as a broken capillary on my face (a dark in color broken capillary not red like some have) and it does not cover it at all.  CC cream yes, that covers it.

@limeade   Whenever I see "twofers" & especially a line's most popular product like IT CC Cream TSV, I get a feeling they're coming out with something "new & improved & better".

@Shanus   The one time I tried IT, I found it to be heavy and the shades were really horrible.

@Katcat1   Yes. Lots of free things and cosmetics I purchase come my way. I did purchase the IT foundation...not sure which one since there are/have been a few incarnations. The fair, fair light, or light, etc. were a grayish yellow.

My BB foundations have a slight yellow base (more neutral than a pink base) which I like because it covers redness, but IT's shades are not only off, but the full coverage just felt slippery. I'd say it felt like a rubbery mask I couldn't wait to pull off.

I like IT CC Cream, but the last tube quit working (pumping).  I only used it a few times and it was over the expiration date to return.

I've read reviews about the same thing happening.  I'll never buy it again.  I had to cut the tube at the bottom to use the contents.  Again, it was over 3/4 full of product when it stopped pumping.

This "twofer" could be a way to unload defective tubes of foundation.

There are 40 shades of this foundation. Whether Q will carry all 40, who knows.  This happens a lot.  There are companies that offer a lot more shades than QVC or HSN offer.  You have to go to the company website or a dept. store to get other shades.

The Bye Bye Lines was on clearance for $23.00 on the IT website since it was being discontinued.  Now it is sold out.

You are right!  It says Bye bye lines has been discontinued and suggest we buy the new one.  I wonder how different they are, if at all.

Seems a little strange to me for a retailer to have a big quantity sale to get rid of product, then try to sell a new improved version.  Who's going to buy it if you're already stocked up?  Anyway, I like IT foundation just fine, but a tiny amount goes a long way.  Lasts me forever!
