Cute style, but I know exactly what my hairdresser would say if I took tht photo to her.  "She has a lot more hair than you do."  I get that every time I take a pic to her.  I just can't accept that I don't have a lot of hair and refuse to settle for styles that are recommended for my hair type.

After wearing my hair long during college, I went short after. At the time one of my best college friends said, "Well, you were never one to worry about your hair!"

I've always been wash and wear too, whatever length it was. And I was in the water every day during high school and part of college.  

@Kachina624 your style reminds me of what my one female cousin always had. She was tiny and had that perfect look. I always wanted that style, but even though my hair was thick and curly, it just never lay like that. 

Anyway, I would wash my hair and scrunch it. When I met DH it was really short. He told me right away that most guys he knew liked long hair, but he liked short. 

I started letting mine grow after that  -  just to be ornery!  

It was just below my shoulders when we were married. A few years later I cut it again. It's now the longest it's been since college.

Thanks everybody.  Love my haircut.  It even looks good when I roll out of bed in the morning.  I run my fingers through it and go with no fuss or muss.  A windy day, which most of ours are, simply improves it.  Truly carefree.
