I buy the only non-metal microneedle roller on the market that lasts me for almost one year. You can find it in .25, .5 and 1.0 mm from whitelotusantiaging dot com. I never use anything longer than .5 on my face. That is the size which will induce collagen. Anything less is just exfoliation to help skincare products absorb. Needles 1.0 or longer should never be used on the face, only on the body. I am an experienced roller and I strongly recommend that you either go to a professional first and have it done there or educate yourself with a book and videos. This is something that comes with a lot of misinformation and it can be harmful when not done properly.
Some notes about needle devices in general:
- the very best metal rollers last about 3 months, tops
- stainless is better than titanium
- the shape of the handle is important
- disinfecting can shorten their lifespan
