CeraVe hydrating cleanser or

Albolene moisturizing cleanser-excellent makeup remover. It's around $11.00 for 12oz at Walgreen's

Albolene Cleansing Concentrate Moisturizing Skin Cleanser

Talk about memories. Albolene is ALL my Mom and Aunt used for years & years. This is no joke.. Mom died too young at 67, but had NO wrinkles. NONE. Her baby sister, my aunt is now in her mid 70's and has the loveliest skin ever. Albolene is her only cleanser. I can see a jar sitting in Mom's bathroom. She lugged the large jar around whenever we traveled together. Smile Mom had, and my aunt still has that youthful glow.

I alternate with whatever I have on hand... sorry I can't be much help.

However, I agree CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser is usually highly recommended by derms. I don't think you can go wrong with this.

My favorite cleanser is an oldie. Connie Steven's Forever Springs Collagen Cleanser. But it's about $20 a jar. I use whatever is easiest to reach under my cabinet. {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

For ease (like when I'm feeling tired or lazy) I prefer oil cleansers.

I use Purity and still my all time fave but also like Acure, Argon oil and mint facial cream cleanser. It feels great and smell is awesome.

CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser is my current go-to cleanser. I have used many cleansers for dry skin over the years and this one of the best regardless of price.

Re: Need suggestions for a slightly moisturizing face cleanser please!

I've been really happy with the Tatcha cleanser. It's more of a balm, but I find that it is not stripping at all and leaves my face feeling lovely.

I also like the SSC (on HSN) A foaming Cleanser. Completely different animal than the Tatcha. But I leave this one in the shower for the mornings, or when I want to shower at night. I don't find this drying and I have dry skin. I think in general people (including myself) assume that if it foams it's drying on the skin. But I have not found this to be the case with the SSC product.

I gave up purity made simple for the same reason. I started to look like a day-old glazed donut.

I've had very good results with Paula's Choice Moisture Boost.

I love Paula's Choice Moisture Boost Cleanser as well. It is so gentile on my skin and takes off all my makeup. My skin always feels balanced after I use it.

I love Dr. Hauschka's Soothing Cleansing Milk. Removes my makeup and my skin feels good.
