Re: Need recommendations for nail strengthener.

This  3 pack is from amazon, looks like this is the only way to get it, I did buy the 3 pack last time. but truthfully, all the Nail Aid strengthers are similar and all high quality at reasonable prices, so if you dont want all 3, just pick one of the single ones, like the Keratin or the Sapphire or the Steel. I dont think you can go wrong with any of them at this price.

I recommend LONDONTOWN Nail Veils. Those are conditioning treatment 'polishes' which contain active ingredients to help maintain healthy nails plus they come in a variety of sheer shades. One coat and your done. No need for base or top coats. Wears like iron, lasts for many, many days w/o chipping or peeling.

Re: Need recommendations for nail strengthener.

Have posted this before:  when two of my nails on the left hand became more ridged, they would ultimately split on the middle of the white edge and then peel off.

I was late 70's and had tried Biotin to no avail for a year.  Then I found this Sally Hansen product which has transformed those two troublesome nails and, as a bonus, the cuticles on both hands look great:

It is available at CVS....look for the shiny bottle as the dull matte bottle has nail polish in it which could be drying.

The routine was 2-3 times a week just rub into the nail and it dries quickly.  Results were visible in a few days.

My nails are always splitting and breaking.  I need  recommendations for a good nail  strengthener.  I tried using Sally Hansen Miracle Nails Nailgrowth Treatment.  But it actually made my nails worse.  TIA

Sally Hansen made my nails worse too.  I always go back to Nailtiques.

Me too and I love it!  Even whenever I go to a nail salon once in a blue moon, they can't believe how long, thick and hard my nails grow!  They grow FAST too.  I have a time keeping them cut down.

@Shelbelle Because of something in my chem profile, my physician advised against Biotin. So, it seems like a good idea to check this out with a kmowledgeable doctor before using it.

Very unusual, Biotin is touted as having no side effects and is safe to consume. It is recommended all the time  for those with thinning hair and in need of nail help. Always best to be your own advocate and do your own research. Also unsual that physicians even know much about supplements unless they are also trained in homeopathic med.  Most, including my own doc is clueless about most supplements.
