Need help with blush( again) please!

Blush is my biggest beauty struggle, im hoping you ladies can help. My biggest problem is that I have a really hard time getting blush to show up on my skin, even though I'm very fair, and what does show doesn't last an hour. I'm wondering if it could be that I use BM, I was thinking that when I wore liquid foundation I didn't have any problems. It almost seems like the liquid helped it "stick". Does anyone else have this problem? I've tried blushes from Tarte, MAC, Nars and none of them work. If it might be the foundation, I'm willing to try liquid again. I'm so fair that I really need color! Thanks so much
