Need help with Bye Bye Undereye Concealer.....

I received this a few days ago. I have read back on some of the threads here and I have watched on TV, but this is REALLY thick. Do you just pat some underneath your eye and then try to spread it around with the brush - which end of the brush? This doesn't move very well on my skin and I feel like I am pulling too much. And to me it is hard to wash off without pulling the skin a lot and I had a hard time getting it off the brush. I have very dark circles and if I cover it all up, it looks too pasty so I would rather not put so much on and have some of the darkness show and not look so masky like. I don't see how anyone could use this as foundation at all.

I hope someone can help me so I can use this. It has had such good reviews. Thanks.
