Hello ladies. A few months ago I ask for help in finding a formula for a friend, and you all gave some amazing advice. That friend has been using her FIG (and nothing but FIG) since the day it arrived. She loves it!!! She let a young friend have some of her formula to try, and now we need to know what would be the best formula for her friend. The girl has somewhat fine, not stick-straight, not curly either, processed (perms and dying) hair. By young, I mean high school age. My daughter uses TT only, but she is a bit older and has virgin hair. The FIG worked well enough as a trial, but I'm afraid it will be too heavy for long term use. Thanks in advance for your help {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}.

Sweet Almond Mint and Pomegranate are Universal....a good place to start.

I would tell her to try the recommender on the Chaz Dean site. http://chazdean.com/recommender.

The Fig is very moisturizing and I can't use it all of the time. If her hair isn't really dry I would have her buy the POM/SAM duo. Although, I would have her take the recommender quiz on the ChazDean site. I found it to be very accurate.

I agree to have her use the Chaz Dean Recommender to start. My recommendation would be for the SAM or better yet POM because although it doesn't suds it does make a creamy foam.

The recommender on Chaz's site is a great concept but it doesn't take into consideration how someone's hair will actually react to the cleansing conditioner recommended. For example, i was curious as to what it would pick for me and it came up with Lavendar and Cucumber Aloe. My hair HATES those. I would strongly suggest getting this sampler (http://www.qvc.com/WEN-by-Chaz-Dean-Set-of-(6)-6oz.-Cleansing-Conditioner-Set.product.A219409.html?s... set to try in order to find out what your friend's daughter's hair will actually like.

Thanks for the suggestions. I thought of the SAM/POM duo after I posted this. I think it would be a great combination for her, and it's a good value. I used to get the SAM/TT for myself and my daughter. Of course, that was before I discovered FAS! Now I buy the 32oz. TT and the 32oz. FAS. Life is good Cool.

Although I don't perm my hair it is dyed and much older (lol). I use a variety of cleansers but the best results I get with Sweet almond. I started with that formula years ago and then went on to POM for quite a while, I recently rediscovered how great the results are with Sweet almond so I always incorporate it in my second cleanse. As far as seasonals fall apple spice and summer honey peach are at the top of my list. Good luck, hope this helps
