[WI CUSTOMER]

I recently having issues with my foundation. I use a serum and moisturizer, after waiting about 15 minutes between those 2 steps, I apply foundation. My foundation, which is a light foundation, pills on my face. I apply foundation either with my fingers or beauty sponge. Any ideas to prevent this or what I can try. Appreciate the help.

Have you considered using a primer?  It goes on over your moisturizer, before the foundation.

@WI CUSTOMER You shouldn't have to wait that long to apply your foundation.

Something in the combination isn't playing well together & is causing the pilling.

Try just your moisturizer & foundation or just the serum & foundation. 

What are the actual serum, moisturizer & foundations that you are using? 

Vit C Serums are usually "drier" serums so I don't think that is probably the problem.

@WI CUSTOMER  - Pilling usually means something isn't playing nice with other things you are using.  Does your moisturizer have an spf?  Are any of the products new or new-ish?  Just trying to think of things that may be making this happen.

Use the serum at night.  You probably won't have any pilling without the serum.

@WI CUSTOMER  what are the brands you are using for the serum, moisturizer and 

foundation?

I started using NO 7 moisturizer the renew brand and vit C. I started a moisturizer with Niacinamide. That might be the issue. I wish I could find products from the same company instead of one product from one company and other one from a different company

This has happened to me. It’s been a while so I don’t remember which products I was using, but I switched things up until I identified which layers worked better without pilling. It’s a pain but it’s the only way to figure out which product is the culprit.

@WI CUSTOMER   I like using DRMTLGY spf which has moisturizer in it, so I cut out the extra step in skincare. Sometimes too many layers under foundation can cause pilling. Also you may need to try different products to see if  any of them work better for you or maybe if you like the skincare, try a different foundation. It's a marathon not a sprint finding the products that play well together.
