Re: Natural Nails Support Group HERE

All natural short nails here with regular mani/pedi schedule every 6 weeks. Sometimes during the summer when toes are exposed, I'll have them put a coat of polish on my toenails. Off the polish goes next appointment.

I use hand lotion throughout the day and at night before getting into bed, L'Occitane or Josie Maran. Lotion on my feet religiously post morning shower.

This nail care routine has worked well for me to avoid common foot problems as I've aged. And, the massage treatment with regular mani/pedi helps with my circulation and overall relaxation.

My nails grow fast and this routine works best for me. Wish all well on their nail journey. Cheers.

@smoochy Good luck! And if you are not feeling like getting the whole kit here, A-azon has the singles.  I prefer the Topless line, as in "no top coat".Smiley Wink

Re: Natural Nails Support Group HERE

My nails are so thin and always have been. They break if I hit my hand against something like a drawer. I have tried every product imaginable such as creams, oils, nail hardeners, etc. Nothing works for me but if anybody has a suggestion I’m willing to try it.

Mine are short and natural.  I like the look of a clear coat but find it doesn't last very long and using nail polish remover ruins the nail.  Even if using a light or a clear coat - does everyone use nail polish remover every few days?  For me, it's not the polish that's a problem - it's the remover.

@Janey2  I looked at the directions on the gloss you are using. They say to apply every other day. Do you remove it every other day and then reapply?

@gtx @Yes put on two coats to BARE nails every other day. So yes you remove the gloss then reapply ( this is a fast process as the gloss dries very quickly. ) during week 3-4 apply 2 coats every 4-5 days,, I now use it as a basecoat or just something to cover my nails. Looks nice alone as it has a very slight rosy tint and gives your nails a shine.

@SamBrown, I use the nail polish remover called Zoya from Ulta. It is conditioning and not hard on my nails.

Re: Natural Nails Support Group HERE

@smoochy   Beautiful, just beautiful!! I wish I could wear colored polish, but painting, etc. just can't do it. I do keep my nails short with Perfect Formula or Kur, too. That's about all I can do. Yes, oil on my nails/cuticles before bed and whenever I can.

I keep a tube of Beekman hand lotion at every sink and at the door before taking Molly out (when it was cold). Difficult to pick up poop in a bag with gloves on. Lol
