@nyc1, Hi there! this leans more toward a warm red with a touch of brown in it. Sorry! Finding a red lipstick that looks good on me has been tough.

Second favorite are the newer lip OILS! Love Yves Saint Laurent's Volupte Tint-in-Oil (many shades!)

Chanel's Rouge Coco in "Suzanne" (a classic berry/cranberry with mauve that is professional yet..casual)

Clinique Intense Moisturizing Chubby Stick in "Broadest Berry" ( a beautiful red that is perfection for my coloring). This is a balm but has the color saturation of a lipstick. Love it.

@SahmIam OH MY ... I wish I hadn't read your selections. It appears you like the same colors as I do. I like the Clinique shade a lot, but also wanted to check out the Chanel color based on your description, and hearing so many good things about Chanel lipstick. DANGEROUS! Suzanne is a GORGEOUS COLOR, and my kind of color! Naturally when I was on their site, I had to look at some of the other lip choices.... are you at all familiar with their lip crayon? I was looking at Cassis. Also looking at Stylo Lipshine in Recit. I put all 3 in my cart. Now I'm just trying to exhibit some control. Do I need another lipstick..... HA! But I LOVE LOVE LOVE beautiful lipsticks and probably have enough for several lifetimes.... and enjoy them too! Hmmmmm..... !!!!!!

I don't have a favorite lipstick but I do tend to buy the same shades of lipstick...usually a light plum berry shade. So two I like are Hard Candy All Glossed Up lip stain crayon in the shade Plum Yum and NYX butter lipstick in shade 31 Midnight Swim.
