Same here.  I do it at least once a week, just to make sure I have a fresh coat on.  I'll never be without Perfect Formula...NEVER.  I'm hooked!  I've never been able to wear my own nails (without acrylics) prior to this.

I've had nails to do this.  I've tried all the pills, polishes, treatments and nothing worked.  What does work for me, is to keep my nails at a moderately short length and use a crystal nail file.  The one I like is Nail Tek XL Crystal file.  I also keep my nails natural, no polish.

I have had phenomenal results with OPI Nail Envy Nail Strengthener. I did the gel nails at Christmas and they were beautiful. However, upon removing them, my nails rebelled in the worst way. I had multiple nails splitting in a vertical pattern not to mention a great deal of sensitivity. All of these issues were solved and I am back to healthy, strong natural nails. This formula also comes in tinted colors if you prefer. Bubble Bath is a nice hint of color.

I had this problem for years! Nails very brittle and splitting all the time. About 4 months ago I started cooking and drinking bone broth every day and my nails are now rock hard and beautiful. Just search online for the benefits to your health with bone broth; it's delicious and I highly recommend adding into your diet. It is working wonders for my nails and health!

ECBG, thank you for the info. Thank goodness I don't have any of those problems with my nail. I just have thin nail.

@ellaphant. I am a fan of Perfect formula as well,  I tried many products and this is the one that gave me a great "10".  I have an autoimmune and it does a number on my nails,  just follow the directions which ar extremely easy and with in no time you'll see results.  Good,luck!

and

DermaNail Nail Conditioner

both I bought on Amazon and sold on other sites as well (google both)

but use consistently and it will help!

I used to have strong nails then had a professional manicure and my nails became weak.  It wasn't a gel or acrylic manicure.  Just a regular one but it must have damaged my nails.  They started to peel all the time.  I started using Nailtiques Formula 2 and they stopped peeling.  I give them a few days to breathe.  Otherwise I always have a couple of coats Nailtiques on.
