This week is special in that tomorrow is our 50th anniversary.

I had my nails done Wednesday evening.  They were so awful I was almost embarrassed to even go in.  LOL

She did kind of a custom polish for me because once again, left on my own to look through colors, I picked a dip polish and they didn't have the matching gel so she had to improvise.

She used DND Gel in Sheer Pink and then put a clear glitter over the top but it is very, very faint.  I really like it but next time I'm going to look at a different pink base.

This is Sheer Pink. These are not my hands.  LOL

Here is the sparkle she put over the top.

@Lipstickdiva  I love that!  I'm a big fan lately of custom polishes.   Love the sparkly topcoat.

@lulu1  Love your color too - and very Happy Anniversary!! Heart Congratulations!

I keep getting OPI's Hue Is the Artist for my manis.   It's all I get lately.  It looks stark but has a faint sort of lavender tint, so it doesn't look like White-Out in person.  : )

@Mj12 , I love that.  I have done the white too but like you, I always pick one that isn't stark so it doesn't look like white-out.

My next nail appointment is the night before I leave for the Outer Banks so I'm already trying to decide what to do.  I don't do those bright neon colors I see people do for a tropical vacation.  Maybe I'll do something like this again. It will look nice against a tan.  Smiley Happy

@Mj12

I really like the color you've chosen as it does not look like WhiteOut.  The various shades of white look so pretty on others, but it is really takes some getting used to for me to wear it. I purchased a milky white shade on the Zoya trade in and it's next in line for my manicure and pedicure.

Thank you for always being so kind and acknowledging me.  It does mean a lot.

@Lipstickdiva

I'm with you when it comes to neon.  Our granddaughters and grand nieces love them but not for this 70 (yikes) year old. Have fun on your OB vacation.  It is beautiful there.  I hope you have great weather. We are heading for Bermuda this Saturday.

I did a new manicure and pedicure this morning. (the gold was for a specific occasion, not something I'd normally wear)  I chose something very neutral but with a little sparkle; China Glaze Beaches & Toes. It's a "cool-toned taupe with holographic glitter"

@lulu1  @shoesnbags   A very belated Happy Anniversary!!!

@Mj12  @Lipstickdiva  Except for the rare instances when I want a stark white look, I also go for whtes with at least a small amount of another color added.
