Snow, I'm so sorry about the difficult time you and DH have had. To have his health difficulty occurr during / shortly after yours was certainly a challenge. I'm so glad that you're OK, and I hope DH continues to improve. I hope you can soon beginning enjoying the little things again....like manis, of course. Lots of good wishes to you and DH. Stop in when you can.

I will be able to stop in more often now. I would have already been on here but his dad has had strokes these past few months and has been in the hospital several times. My husband can't drive yet so I had to drive him to check on his dad. He's home now and I've been helping clean his house, running errands for him, and taking him to doctor's appointments. It has been very tiring.

With all the extra work my nails were looking horrible. I can't stand it, lol. I'm ready to get some new polish and get my mani and pedi done. I just bought one of my favorite pedi colors, Haute as Hello by Essie, and will do that sometime this week. My tips are finally growing back out. I don't know what color to pick first.

@nomless I saw @SnowOwl posting a couple of days ago also, and responded and tagged her. She "disappeared" so soon after the new board started that she may not know about tagging. Maybe if we can keep this thread bumped up to the top, she'll find us again.

I added a small bottle of CND RESCUERXX when I ordered the OPI collection a few weeks ago. I finally decided to apply some a few days ago. I liked the results enough to give it a fair trial and use it for a few days. Seems to be helping with the "peelies." I guess I won't really know until enough time has passed for the already peeled areas to grow out. When I do go back to polish, I've got tons of new untrieds just waiting...

@SnowOwl Well, that'll teach me to start a post, then get sidetracked ordering sushi delivered, taking out the garbage, watchin tv, eating it when it arrived...and then finishing and posting the message! Oops!

I'm so sorry the past few months have been so challenging, but glad everyone is on the mend.

I recently ordered the OPI CoCola Can RED and CoCola Bottle GREEN! YAY!

Now I just have to try them with my next home manicure.

I am having very good results using New York Color *Grow Ten Nails* clear polish.

Well, ladies, I spoke too soon. My husband had another stroke yesterday morning. Just when he was doing so well. I will be back though if/when he leaves the hospital. I'll still try to pop in every now and then though. Polish is the hobby I enjoy most and it helps take my mind off this. Thank you all for the thoughts and well wishes
