Hi everyone, I am so frustrated. I have natural nails and have always done them myself. They are pretty strong and grow fast. However, once they get to a certain length, I need to keep some sort of "strengthener" on them or one or two will inevitably break at the corner (mostly because I am not very careful). I have tried just about everything and one of 2 things happens. With "strengtheners"- I have Nailtiques and Perfect Formula, The stuff just peels off, starting at the tops of my nails. The other night, I used a long-wearing "gel-like" polish and it did not peel off, but, even though I applied it over the tips of my nails, within 24 hours, It was coming off the very tips of my nails. It hadn't chipped, but was almost worn off. I didn't do anything crazy-that would explain this. Idon't want to go the "gel manicure" route b/c of damaging my nails but I need something that will look decent for more than a day. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
