I remember The Lone Ranger show very well, & I have a Lone Ranger DVD. Takes me back. Silver was a beautiful horse. A very good friend of mine got to meet Clayton Moore. She was so thrilled because she had a crush on him. He told her that he liked her sweater . She actually blushed when I told her what he might have meant.
My grandson in his infinite 16 year old wisdom, said I should try to post my portrait. I don't know how & I don't know if QVC would allow it. I only know how to do research, come on the Beauty Banter, play Angry Birds, & do my e-mail. Pathetic. I'll look into it. Good thing I'm in costume [or am I?], so no one will know what I really look like.
Going to stream a movie from Netflix. Already had a Godzilla marathon. Would love to see 47 Ronin again.
Enjoy your weekend Lola. Look forward to next week's mani.
Aha, great minds ... I sorta had in the back of my mind you might post a pic of the portrait here ...
Want me to give another Angry Birds player a mini-tutorial on posting a pic? I don't know how to do it from a cell phone, but here's how I do it: (BTW, I use a Mac, but I've given PC users these steps and they get there from here)
I have no idea whether a painting of a person's face (from X-years ago) would be allowed here, but the worst that can happen is that it would be removed.
First off, this will not work on Safari (I have no idea why), so use a different browser. I use Firefox with no problems.
1. Take a photograph of the portrait and download it to your computer desk top. If you don't know how to do that, we're both out of luck!
2. Go to tinypic.com, click browse, select the picture from your computer.
3. Use the drop down "Sizing" menu and choose "Website / Email"
4. Your picture should come up on the right, but with lots of "stuff" around it. Click on your picture or the "View Raw Image" below it until just your picture is on your screen. "Copy" the picture (on Firefox, my Mac has an "Edit" menu at the top of the page, where I use the drop-down menu to "Select All", then "Copy")
5. Come here to BB, if you aren't already, log in, start a post (new discussion or a reply within a thread), and after you've written whatever you want, "Paste" your picture.
6. Click "Submit" and it should be there. If not, you can "Edit" and "Cancel" and try again.
HTH!
I'll wait here ...

Hi Lola,
Thanks for the detailed instructions. My grandson says I need a cord to plug into my camera, then download onto the computer. It'll be a long wait Lola . There was a poster who put her pictures on the beauty banter all the time, so I can only try & see what QVC will do.
Angry Birds. My grandson got me playing that game on his I-pad I think it was. He downloaded the game onto the computer, so now I can get those little piggies on full screen. I'm trying to get 3 stars on all the games & there are still those that I can't beat or even get close to my original score. Do you have a favorite game or any that you find challenging? I like Trick or Treat. Moonlight Festival is hard for me. It's that hand to eye co-ordination. Always been hard for me.
Heavy rains & wind on the way. Oh, just to have a blizzard .

Yes, "the 'right' cord" -- we have so many, they practically have their own "apartment"!
I must admit I spend most of my gaming time (which I say is "better than therapy") on good old-fashioned Klondike Solitaire. (I'll brag a bit -- I have an 86% win rate on one-card.) I got Angry Birds one Christmas years ago when it was first out and I had received some personal electronic device gift, and like you, I liked to get three stars on each level before I moved on to the next. Lately, I've had a lot of trouble logging-in, and keeping my "no ads forever" and "Mighty Eagle" both of which I paid for, in place, and getting the game to work properly at all, especially on my laptop. I still play it sometimes on my iPhone when I have some time to kill waiting in line at the car wash, etc. I liked the one with the pigs-as-miners, as I recall. I still play Angry Birds "Rio", but it doesn't work like the game used to.
Be careful what you wish for, weather-wise, I believe they mentioned "Polar Vortex" for this week, so a blizzard is not out of the question. We had an amazing rainstorm last night -- TWO INCHES!!, and it's still drizzling today. NM's monsoon pattern even made the National news last night.
Hope you're having a good week!
