Oh Ms Lola, I'm such a plaid girl. (despite far too many years in Catholic school uniforms) I cannot tell you how impress I am that you did this beauty free hand!
I love this. I wonder if you could do it in Burberry colors!

txrose, NM is right "next door" to TX! LOL. It would be fun to have a mani party, wouldn't it?
That should would be a lot of fun. I love your great state the mountains, the Balloon Festival, and the weather. We try go go once a year and hoping my son gets a teaching job in Santa Fe. Have a great week Lola.

Well Lulu, don't you have a nifty idea there for a Burberry plaid mani? It wasn't so "easy peasy" that I'm anxious to do another one real soon, but that would be pretty.
Yes txrose, NM does have its good points (and you listed most of them), but ... there are always things which could use improvement, no matter where one lives, no? You should have a great time hanging out in Santa Fe -- fingers crossed your DS gets the job!

Very cute Lola! Thank you again for taking the time to give us this thread every week.
Well I know nail art is back in a BIG way because my extremely conservative SIL had her nails done last week in pale blue with sparkly snowflakes (it has been cold and snowy here for over a month). Have a great week!‎02-04-2014 04:06 PM
Hi DREAMON, I'm glad you chimed in this week! I consider myself pretty conservative too, but I just can't seem to put on a plain mani anymore! Should I seek therapy? LOL
Did your baby GS recover from his ear infection, etc.? Hope he's 100% again by now.
You must be tired of snow after a month! We got some very pretty, fluffy snow last night, but the streets are clear already.
Just curious how the font size in your post changed from one paragraph to the next with no "edited" note? Not that I expect you to be able to explain it; that's just me.

Lola Please don't seek therapy ...we are on the winning end of your creative genius in Nail Art!!!!!!
My grandson is now feeling much better but my DD got the Flu and gave it to me so we were all sick. We are recovering now but it really takes a lot out of you as you know. Thanks for asking.
I have no idea how that font changed. I was on another computer when I wrote that so my guess is it has something to do with that.

Lola, my font often shows up in different font sizes. It is some weird thing about this board. I have often tried editing repeatedly to get it all the same but it does not help. It happens on my regular Windows computer.

Lola, I need you to keep up with your nails! I love them! you give us all so many ideas and tips, too. Besides, nail art is creative fun & harmless.

DREAMON, I'm glad your grandson is better but so sorry you've had the flu too!! It seems to have been a terrible flu season everywhere!
I sometimes think I can identify posts from iPhones as being different in font and format, but I had no idea a computer would produce differences within the same post too -- or, probably as wildob3 said, just something going on on this board. One thing I've noticed, when one of my posts is slow to go through, I've copied it to a document on my desktop so I won't have to type everything out again. Well, I can change the font, color, and size within that document, copy and paste it into a new post on this board, and it can show up as blue script, for example! Oh, the things I learn ... totally by accident!
Thanks, wildob3, that's exactly the way I feel about nail art -- totally harmless creative fun! And I can't tell you what a relief it has been to have declared buying all the polish I buy as a hobby vs. an addiction! LOL.
