NARS - anyone use?

Most products/brands I use are due to knowing about them, either from QVC or HSN or Ulta. Sephora carries a wider range of brands that I haven't had experience with and for my birthday I got a sample of NARS lip pencils. They were drying but I liked the colors. I went back into Sephora looking for a NARS lipstick. It was really pricey so thought I would see if anyone here has had good experience with the brand.

Their new Audacious lipsticks are well worth the money. I have always been a Nars lipstick fan and these live up to their name. They are like a creamy matte. I have also used their blushes, shadows, and eye primer. Very nice line.

I haven't tried their new Audacious lipsticks, but I've always loved NARS lipsticks. They also make excellent glosses and I like their tinted moisturizer. The NARS Light Reflecting setting powders are amazing.

The only thing I don't like (and I don't think anyone does - seriously!) is the packaging, which is black and rubberized. It makes holding them very easy, but it also attracts and holds dirt. They wind up looking like they've been at the bottom of your cosmetics bag for YEARS, even if you've only had it a month. They're like the proverbial lint covered cough drop fished out from the bottom of your bag.

I know what your are saying. The Audacious lipsticks have a different finish and do not end up looking so gross.

I've read on several blogs how great the Audacious lipsticks are. I think I will splurge when I get near the end of my Urban Decay Revolution lipstick.
