My review of Doll 10 foundation

This is a second skin foundation, similar to UD Naked, Shiseido, and Armani. Coverage is build able. I did need more than one drop. I experienced no grittiness; it was very smooth liquid foundation. Color match in fair was a better match for me than Naked which is .5 in Naked. doll 10's has more pink in it which is great for my pink undertones. I have peaches and cream skin and it covered my uneven skintone without any issues. Halfway thru the day, it started to breakdown and face became shiny. I didn't set my foundation with powder because I normally don't have to. Finish was semi matte. If you use the brush, you have to stipple the foundation onto your skin, I used my regular foundation brush and I liked the application results better. While the color match was better, it foundation itself was just average. I didn't like the oily look I had at the end of the day or even in the middle of the day.. Naked doesn't do that to me. It's going back. If you have dry skin, this may work for you. If you have normal to oily skin, you will be blotting during the day. Also felt the brush should have been a different type if brush. Hope this helps. I plan on trying Clarins Everlasting foundation.

Re: My review of Doll 10 foundation

Thank you!

I wish they would have shown swatches of each color on the show. I thought Doris' face looked a bit too dark and she said she was wearing the light so it makes me wonder if light or fair is better for my skintone. The fair sounds like it would be a little too light though. I am sure it is yet another foundation I fit inbetween fair and light.

HD, I wear 115 in Makeup Forever if that helps. I've worn ivory in Tarte clay foundation.I'm very fair, usually the lightest color in the shade range.

I'm sorry I did not like this foundation at all. It showed every line and wrinkle. I looked better with no foundation. I wanted to like it but it is going back. And I used just a dot to cover my face.

Re: My review of Doll 10 foundation

Uh oh. I put up a quick review but only have had it on a couple of hours. I have oily skin and will give it a full trial run tomorrow. On the other hand, tomorrow I will use it with my usual anti-oil routine which I did not do tonight as I just wanted to see how it applied and what it looked like, especially for color match. Now that I know the color is good, I can give it a good try tomorrow.

thanks for sharing!

Re: My review of Doll 10 foundation

I received mine in the light shade and it was a perfect match. It went on nice and looked ok but I'm still on the fence about it. Like the OP I just wasn't wowed by it as there are so many others out there that look and feel a little better.
