Your nails look ok, just a bit thin.

I just wouldnt want to have the gel peeled off every time. Do they use acetone and wrap in foil?   went for a pedi the other day and the lady next to me had foil on her fingers.    She had a gel pedi too. They used a curing light.

Her mani-pedi  came out beautiful.

yes they do. Between that and the electric file on the nail beds, it's very damaging. But the finished nails look so pretty that its easy to ignore what is happening underneath.

@Scooby Doo  its a power love seat. We also have the matching sofa. The label is on the underside of the footrest. I had to extend the footrest, lie down on the floor and try to find that small print. My cats and dog were very curious-sniffing my head, getting in my face 🤣  trying to get my stiff elderly body upright again was a feat. I got real lightheaded so had to sit for a minute first. Then hoist myself up. Not a pretty picture. Haha. The things im willing to do for my friends 😉🥰

The label says Haining Highpoint Furniture made in China.

@Scooby Doo My leather recliner looks similar. I got it on sale at LazyBoy, where they have a huge selection. I found that it was important to try them out as not all of them "fit" me as I am short. LB will also customize some aspects of the recliner, e.g. location of the control panel. Three years later, it still looks like  new. Expensive even on sale but worth it in my opinion.

@Q-Checker I love LazyBoy.  I do have a recliner by them but now I'm looking for a lift chair because my back has gotten so bad.  And I need a zero gravity chair.  I have just the oposite problam of you in that I'm taller with long legs.  The seats are usually not deep enough.  I've probably sat in 20 chairs this week trying to find "the one".  I did find one yesterday, but the price of the chair is almost a house payment.

Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry you went through that just for my curiosity.  If would have got down there I'd have to tell Siri to send paramedics and bring a hoist.  But your loveseat look very comfy and I'm on the search for one.

@smoochy --your nails in the photo look so much better, than  my nails did after chemo, years ago---which  destroyed the way my nails have grown ever since. Could never grow them out without ridges and peeling and being super soft -- had 2 nails on my left hand, that actually crumbled  to the moon area of the nail and became deformed.  Nothing worked on them. I go get gel nails now. I know about the expense and what probably will happen if I decide to stop--haven't gotten there yet tho.
