@GoneButNotForgotten  - The last time I had a cut was last May.  My hair is long and I pull it back in a ponytail.  I look forward to a cut one day, but will not venture out.  I may get brave and cut it myself one day, but for now, I'm just thankful to have a headful of hair.

Good luck on your trim.  I'm envious!  Smiley Happy

Mine is going on 13 months.  The kindest thing I can say is that I can pull it up now.  Sort of interested to see how far I can go.

In the last year, I've had exactly 2 haircuts, because of the pandemic. I have a lot of hair and it grows fast; I look like a sheepdog right now. I'll be getting a trim in a few days and I'm so glad; it's all I can do not to grab a razor and shave my head.

Anyone else deprived of haircuts, etc., because of the pandemic?

Sheepdog, you say?  Then you should be looking pretty darn good!  LOL

I had my first hair cut in 12 months about 3 weeks ago.  When the pandemic started, I had very short hair and when I got it cut last month it was past my shoulders.  My hair is very curly and, when it's so short, I almost forget how curly it can be. Since I'm actually enjoying having longer hair, I only had my stylist trim and layer it.  I love the products that I've accumulated to emphasize the curl and it's fun having longer hair right now.  My guess is that, when it gets warmer, I'll get tired of it and have her cut it all off again.

Me too, @SilleeMee .  There are some good Youtubes I used for guidance.  My hair is curly so mistakes don't show as much Woman SurprisedWoman Very Happy.  My hair is to the middle of my back now.  There was another thread about wearing long hair tied back at night.  I leave my hair loose.  The few times I left a scrunchy in my hair after washing my face, it was really snarled in the morning.

I haven't missed a haircut yet. Every 4 weeks like clockwork. I did purposely decide to let it grow from a layered wedge cut to a short bob with all one length and I am really liking it much better than all the layers.

@KingstonsMom

DH cut 5" from my hair in May.

I cut 1" off in October.

If I don't get a 'real' cut cut, SOON, I too am going for the razor.

Yes, totally deprived.  I've gotten 2 haircuts in the last year -- BC (Before Covid) I'd get a trim every 4 weeks.  I miss my pixie, but not wanting to take the risk of going to a salon.

I began going back to the salon when they opened in my area in mid-May.  I have been going on a regular basis since then for cuts and color.

@GoneButNotForgotten.  Sounds like you need more than a trim.  My hair is similar to yours and it gets cut a lot every 6 weeks, come hell or high water.  When I get out of the chair, there's a whole head of hair on the floor.
